It's October, the month of full-on leaves changing, pumpkin patches, and Halloween. And while Halloween can symbolize fear and the unknown, I think it also symbolizes whimsy and fun.

 

For sure, it's already a scary time. And given all the craziness in the world, this October could be one of the scariest on record. People are fearful of the election and what happens after, are concerned about their livelihoods and so much more. And it's exhausting.

 

But again, it's all how you look at things. Maybe we're all in this collective muck so we can finally stop running on the treadmill, slow down, and truly focus on what we want for ourselves, our children, our world:

 

Love. Kindness. Peace. Fun. Whimsy!
